IOS 15 has been released, and it’s a big one. It’s a lot bigger than its predecessor, which made us all happy with a lot of customization and security and privacy improvements. Apple used to be a little more cautious when updating iOS. That’s no longer the case. There are even more things to be excited about this year, like home screen widgets and App Library.

Everything We Know About iOS 15

This is a significant change for the iPhone. It’s called iOS 15. When iOS 15 comes out, it adds a lot of new things to make your iPhone even better and more valuable at the same time. IOS 15 improves everything from communication to safety and privacy to how much time you spend on your phone.

When will iOS 15 be out?

First, let’s answer the most critical question: When is iOS 15 coming out? Apple has officially shown off iOS 15 at the Worldwide Developers Conference in 2021, with watchOS 8, macOS 12, and tvOS. Like last year, WWDC 2021 has been an all-virtual event because of the COVID-19 virus. I already said that iOS 15 adds a lot of new things to the iPhone. This is a list of the iOS 15 features you should know about.

FaceTime SharePlay

When you have iOS 15, you can watch movies with your friends on FaceTime with the SharePlay app. You can also use it to share your iPhone screen with FaceTime and listen to music with your friends. You can now create FaceTime calls between iPhones and Android phones, which is fantastic. Some features let you block out noise, comprehensive spectrum audio, portrait mode, and even Spatial Audio in FaceTime calls.

Focus Mode

The new iOS 15 has a unique “Focus Mode,” like Do Not Disturb but with more power. The feature makes it very easy to manage your time on your iPhone, whether you’re at work, at home, or even asleep. It doesn’t matter what kind of time you have. The Focus Mode can be turned on or off depending on your needs.

You can also set up people and apps that can send you notifications. You can also set up practice home screens for each Focus Mode you make and things like auto-replying to people who text you while in Focus Mode and making suggestions based on what you’re doing.

Notifications

IOS 15 also makes the notifications better (again). Reports now show the picture of the person who sent them. And there’s an even more useful feature called the “Notification Summary.” It’s meant to help people avoid getting distracted by notifications that aren’t important at the time. Safari

Safari on the iPhone is getting a new look, too. This is similar to the changes made to Safari on Mac OS X 12 Monterey. The address bar is now at the bottom of the page and doesn’t get in the way while browsing. As a bonus, on iOS 15, you can now group tabs in Safari.

Besides, there’s also a start page that you can change, and it’s the same on every Apple device you own. One of the most significant alterations to Safari on the iPhone is that it lets you add web extensions. Safari extensions can now be added to your iPhone, iPad, and Mac. You can do this now. You can also search the web with your voice and arrange tabs in a new grid style.

Spotlight

When I use my iPhone, Spotlight is one of the things that I use the most often. I love it because it’s the best way to find things on your phone, and with iOS 15, Spotlight is getting even better. In Spotlight, you now get a lot more information. You can now search through your photos and images from the web to find what you want. If you’re going to explore your iPhone quickly, you can now use Spotlight on the Lock Screen and the Notification Center. This means that you can quickly search your iPhone through Spotlight no matter where you are.

Privacy

Also, there are a lot of great privacy features in iOS 15. It started with iOS 14, but iOS 15 goes one step further. It lets you see how many apps are tracking you. Apps that use permissions the most can now be shown on your iPhone. It can also show you which websites the apps connect to while running in the background. The App Privacy Report in iOS 15 will show which apps are tracking you the most. You can use this report to determine which apps are tracking you the most.

Siri

Siri is getting new things, too. The most important thing is that you can now use Siri when you don’t have a connection to the Internet. Hide My Email lets you make fake email addresses that you can use to fill out forms on websites that might send you spam. It also authorizes you to fix a password for your iCloud account, like your Apple ID password.

iCloud+ also comes with Private Relay, which lets you know that no one (not even Apple) can see what websites you’re going to while on the Internet. It doesn’t stop there.
